Stats prove our Ash is deadlier than Ronaldo
Hunter, 21, netted his ninth of the season to seal Town’s thrilling 3-2 comeback victory over Shrewsbury on Tuesday.
It was his seventh goal from the bench and Hunter’s super-sub heroics have left him with best goals-per-minute ratio in League One. And he is statistically more lethal than Ronaldo, Chelsea’s Diego Costa and Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez.

Hide AdPoacher Hunter is almost managing a goal a game, having rippled the back of the net nine times in 981 this season – that’s a goal every 109 minutes.
Ronaldo might have lifted Euro 2016 with Portugal but he lags behind Hunter, averaging a goal every 124 minutes.
Only Barcelona supremo Lionel Messi (71), Manchester City’s Sergio Augero (101) and Newcastle striker Dwight Gayle (87) have a better goals- per-minute ratio.
And with three assists too, Hunter is either creating or scoring a goal every 81 minutes. Speaking after tying him to a three-year deal, Fleetwood chairman Andy Pilley praised Hunter’s “God-given talent” for scoring goals.
