Town supporters will now be able to travel to the club’s League One away fixtures for half the price, thanks to another gesture from the club chairman.

He has once again subsidised away travel for all supporters, with the price halved for all matches.

He said: “I think it’s important that we as a club try and get as many fans to away matches as possible.

“It can be expensive to follow your team both home and away.

“Hopefully by halving the prices for away travel, we will see a larger number of the Cod Army travelling away from home.

“Growing the fan base is very important to our club and this is one of a number of initiatives we are planning to get more people through the gates to support the Cod Army.

“We have a team the town of Fleetwood should be proud of at the moment.

“We aim to make it as affordable as possible for the locals to come and get involved.”
