All change since Uwe's opening clash with Cobblers

A lot has changed since Fleetwood drew 1-1 at Northampton on the opening day of the campaign, with boss Uwe Rosler again stressing the need to keep evolving.

That draw came just days after Rosler and assistant coach Rob Kelly took over the reins from Steven Pressley.

The other new face in the dugout at Sixfields that August day, Northampton’s Rob Page, has since been replaced by Justin Edinburgh.

Rosler’s side are on a 16-game unbeaten league run and he said: “A lot has happened since that game. Jimmy Ryan has not been here now for quite some time (due to injury). Eggert Jonsson also started that game and is not here anymore.

“At that point Northampton had come off a long unbeaten run, had just won promotion and were full of confidence. I think we got a very important, fantastic point there. Rob and myself had only been only here three days.

“Now a lot of things have changed. We have got more stable and find a way to win but coaches are never happy - we can never stand still.

“What was good at the beginning of August is not good enough anymore and what is good now will not be good enough next year

“We always have to move on, drive on to get better in all aspects – tactical, technical, mental, physical, spiritual. In all areas we need to always drive to get better.”
