The FA has charged both Blackpool and Blackburn for failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion during the fiery 2-2 draw at Bloomfield Road last Saturday.
Players from both clubs were involved in a huge melee in the final 10 minutes which was sparked by DJ Campbell’s tackle on Seasiders goalkeeper Matt Gilks.
Campbell, formerly of the Seasiders, was sent off for his reaction along with Blackpool’s on-loan Liverpool defender Jack Robinson.
The two Lancashire clubs have until 6pm on November 4 to respond to their charges.
Meanwhile, Pool play-off hero David Vaughan has signed for Nottingham Forest on loan and will face his old club on Saturday.
