Tom Ince and the rest of the England U21 side have arrived in Israel ahead of the European Championships.
After a week at their training camp in Turkey, Stuart Pearce’s men play their first group game against Italy in Tel Aviv tomorrow.
Blackpool winger Ince is suspended for England’s opening game but is expected to feature against Norway on Saturday.
England then take on hosts Israel in the group decider next Tuesday.
Ince is joined in an experienced-looking squad by former Pool loanees Nathan Delfouneso and Jonjo Shelvey.
Boss Pearce said: “It’s a great setting for us, and Israel have been looking forward to staging this. There are some real blue-chip nations in this tournament and on paper it’s probably the strongest we’ve faced in my time.
“The players have had a fantastic week in Turkey and we’ve got everything we wanted out of the training.”
