Blackpool’s striker problems have been dealt a major blow with the news Kwame Thomas has returned to Derby.
The forward who was due to remain at Bloomfield Road until 2 January, has featured on 22 occasions for Blackpool this season and started the game at Port Vale on Tuesday night.
Derby decided to re-call him this morning.
“We’re disappointed to lose Kwame, he’s developed as a player in his time with us and played first-team football on a regular basis,” manager Neil McDonald said.
“Derby County always held the option to recall him and that has obviously now been activated. We thank him for his contribution and wish him the very best for the future.”
