BLACKPOOL FC are freezing season ticket prices for next season – even if the club makes it back to the Premier League.
The move is good news for fans and was predictable, with Pool still on a PR charm offensive after the furore caused by the £11m payment to Owen Oyston.
Supporters who buy season tickets before April 30 will get the biggest discounts, with a ticket in the north, west or south stand, or in east stand block E, costing £359. That price will rise to £382 next month and to £404 from June 1.
Seats held by season ticket holders will be reserved for renewal until June 1.
However, there has been controversy among supporters in the west stand 1953 seats, where around 330 face big price rises because of a new hospitality package.
