BLACKPOOL finished their pre-season with a 4-2 defeat at Premier League side Swansea.
The Seasiders went behind after only 45 seconds.
Barry Ferguson’s backpass was read well by Danny Graham, and the former Pool loanee rounded a stranded Matt Gilks and tapped into an empty net.
On 16 minutes the home side doubled their lead. Graham was again involved with a nice reverse pass to Michu who gave Gilks no chance with a super calm finish.
Ludo Sylvestre pulled a goal back just before the break for Blackpool when Neal Eardley burst into the box and cut the ball back into the path of the midfielder who fired into the top corner.
But half-time approached, Swansea re-gained their two-goal lead.
Graham was a constant threat, and he gave Gilks no chance from five yards after a Baptiste mistake allowed Nathan Dyer to break into the box.
It was 4-1 on 63 minutes. Dyer’s shot was parried by Gilks into the path of Graham who completed the easiest hat-trick he’ll ever score.
Tom Ince gave the scoreline a much more respectable look when he scored from the spot on 82 minutes after Ashley Williams fouled.
