THE Seasiders’ development squad face Chorley tonight at Bloomfield Road (kick-off 7pm) as part of the club’s 125th anniversary celebrations.
The Evo-Stik League side, managed by former Blackburn and Manchester City midfielder Garry Flitcroft, were Blackpool’s first opponents when the club was founded in 1887.
Ian Holloway has chosen not to include any of his senior stars and will instead use the game to take a look at younger players.
Ashley Eastham, Paul Bignot, Adam Dodd and Gerardo Bruna are all set to start alongside a number of trialists.
A Brazilian defender, French midfielder and Algerian striker are all expected to take some part in tonight’s game.
It will also give supporters the chance to have a first look at new signing Jake Caprice, who recently joined from Crystal Palace.
Blackpool will wear a special anniversary blue kit and tickets are available on the night, priced at £4 for adults and £2 concessions.
