KEITH Southern reckons DJ Campbell must be serving one of the longest suspensions ever.
The Seasiders striker was banned for three games after being sent off for violent conduct at Wolves.
That was on February 26 – and five weeks later Campbell still isn’t back.
Thankfully tomorrow’s game at Fulham will be the final game of his suspension, and he will be back for next Sunday’s televised home clash with Arsenal.
Southern has sympathy for his team-mate.
“It’s been an odd last month because of the lack of fixtures and the man you’ve really got to feel sorry for is DJ,” said Southern.
“He has had the longest suspension ever. By the time we play Arsenal, it will six weeks after his sending off.”
