CHARLIE Adam is a guest pundit in the Sky Sports studio at St Andrew’s tonight.
The former Seasider skipper will do well to stay neutral, though – he’s told The Gazette he’s desperate for his former club to get to Wembley and win promotion.
Adam said: “Those two and a half years I had at Blackpool were a fantastic time in my career.
“I had so many good times. We were successful and I have nothing but happy memories.
“I was lucky enough to be there at the same time as the club had a very good group of lads, who consistently got results and played a very enjoyable brand of football.
“It has been a bit of an up and down season for them this year – one minute they were in the play-offs, the next they were back out.
“But they made it in the end and performed incredibly well considering the disappointment we all felt after getting relegated last season.
“I hope they can do it because I think they deserve to.”
Hopefully we’ll hear Charlie doing a Gary Neville and emit a high-pitched scream when the Seasiders snatch a late victory.
