Search for fan of the year 2012
MEET Tangoman, a Blackpool supporter becoming pretty famous among the Seasiders contingent for his rather distinctive look when attending games.
Not content with hat and wig, Mr Tangoman goes to every single game daubed in tangerine paint – impressive attention to detail, though it must be a nightmare to wash off.
Mr T should think about entering the Football League’s nationwide search to find their fan of the year for 2012.
Launched this week, supporters are asked to nominate fellow fans they feel have gone above and beyond the call of duty to support their club.
Email awards@football-league.co.uk with your super fan.
Entries must be received by January 31 and include the nominee’s name, supported club, your relationship to them and a summary of why they should win the award, along with suitable images.
A panel of judges will then select the fan who has demonstrated the most extraordinary dedication to their club.
The winner is to be announced at the Football League Awards on Sunday, March 11 in London
