Jose Riga said he was happy with his side’s display despite defeat against Norwich, for the first hour at least.
The Tangerines took the lead shortly after half-time through Nathan Delfouneso, but a Donervon Daniels own goal brought Norwich back to level terms, before quick-fire strikes later on from Lewis Grabban and Josh Murphy sealed the points.
And boss Riga said: “I know people will remember the last part of the game more than the first but I remember the first hour, which was a really consistent display.
“We had control, we took the lead, but the spaces between the lines grew bigger and we suffered defensively.
“I think we could’ve got a draw - we were unlucky. When I saw the first half of the game, I’d forgotten that we had a defensive shortage because we were really in the game.
“I’m frustrated. Norwich are the team that have impressed me the most in the Championship and unfortunately we saw that quality in the second half.
“I didn’t think we gave them a lot of chances to score and I was really happy with our performance for much of the game, but we lost our focus a bit after scoring the goal.”
