BLACKPOOL still haven’t given up hope of signing striker Nile Ranger from Newcastle.
Chairman Karl Oyston remains in talks with the Premier League club and is trying to thrash out a loan deal for the talented 20-year-old.
Manager Ian Holloway said: “I don’t like talking about other people’s players but my chairman has been talking to them constantly, though nothing has materialised yet.”
As for the possibility of Rob Hulse joining from QPR, Holloway said: “Rob is still injured, so that won’t be happening at the moment. There is no point signing someone who is injured.”
Hulse has strained his medial knee ligament and is out until the end of the month.
