Blackpool have moved quickly to fill their right-back shortage with the signing of Brian Lenihan.
The defender joined the Seasiders on a one-month loan from Premier League side Hull City yesterday after Tony McMahon was handed a three-match ban for his sending off against Fulham.
Lenihan, 20, signed a three-year deal with Steve Bruce’s Hull City at the start of the season after impressing in the League of Ireland with Cork City.
He burst into Martin O’Neill’s Republic of Ireland side for the Euro 2016 qualifiers with Gibraltar and Germany last month and has been once again named in their most recent squad.
It’s expected Lenihan will go straight into the team for the trip to Leeds on Saturday.
