Jonathan Legear has signed a one-year deal at Blackpool.
The 27-year-old was brought in on trial by previous boss Jose Riga but has already done enough for Lee Clark to offer him a deal.
Legear has seen his career drift off track in recent seasons after he was tipped for the top at Anderlecht.
He played more than 100 games for the Belgian giants, including five Champions League campaigns.
But after a £1.8m move to Russian side Terek Grozny in 2011 didn’t work out, Legear has arrived at Blackpool looking to rebuild his career.
He won’t travel for tomorrow’s game against Fulham but could be in contention for the weekend’s trip to Leeds.
