MATT Phillips and Billy Clarke will be raring to go when they arrive back at Blackpool.
The pair have been on top form in their month-long loan spell at Sheffield United and both enjoyed another fine weekend.
Phillips scored twice in the Blades’ 4-4 draw with Exeter – taking his tally to five in four games – while Clarke scored his first goal since finding the net 29 seconds into the derby with Preston in November 2009.
United boss Danny Wilson said: “The two of them offer us something different. That little bit of quality and pace can unsettle the opposition and they have really proved their worth.
“Billy and Matt have come with the right attitude, which is a credit to Blackpool and Ian Holloway.
“They wanted to come, have a hunger to play and are contributing to us.”
Wilson wants to keep the pair at the club longer but Holloway has told him there is no chance.
Phillips and Clarke will definitely be recalled ahead of the Seasiders, Championship clash at Middlesbrough on Saturday November 19, and both are expected to go straight into Pool’s starting line-up.
Holloway said: “I sent them out on loan to get them up to speed, and get them sharp and confident.
“That is what has happened and I am delighted they have done so well. They will be ready to hit the ground running when they return.”
Phillips and Clarke haven’t been on the losing side in their time at Bramall Lane and have helped the Blades climb fourth in League One.
