A NUMBER of famous faces from Blackpool FC’s past will be lacing up their boots again tomorrow in the name of charity.
Andy Preece, Phil Clarkson, John Hills and Ciaran Donnelly are a few of the names confirmed to play in the Jane Quinn/Natalie Walmsley Memorial Shield.
The Blackpool Legends side will be managed by Fleetwood Town boss Mickey Mellon and takes place at AFC Blackpool on Sunday, kick-off 5pm.
They will take on a young side made up of the town’s best Under-21 talent.
Other activities on the night include a bouncy castle, raffle and a street dance performance.
Event organiser Helen Lamb said: “This is the eighth year of the event and it’s always really well supported.
“Over the years, we’ve raised £20,000, and hopefully we’ll be able to add to that this year.
“Get yourselves down on Sunday afternoon, it will be a great evening.”
Tickets are available on the gate, priced £3 or £10 for a family ticket (two adults, two kids).
All proceeds will go to Epilepsy Research UK.
