Blackpool are waiting for scan results after being hit by a training ground injury to Craig Cathcart.
The defender was left on crutches after a freak incident when a ball rattled against his knee on Thursday afternoon.
After leaving the training ground on crutches, Cathcart was sent for a scan.
Ince explained: “He’s kind of turned his knee.
“He went for a scan yesterday, we aren’t sure how bad it is.
“It’s one of those where it might be bruising.
“Is he going to be OK for Saturday? We don’t know.
“We will wait and see what the scan says, he may wake up tomorrow feeling much better.
“I’m 50/50 about him at the moment.
“It was innocuous, the ball just hit his knee.”
Cathcart’s injury comes as a real blow, after he filled what has been a troublesome right-back position.
The only other recognised right-back, Bradley Orr, is ineligible and unable to play against his parent club tomorrow.
Something which Ince thinks is typical of his side’s luck.
He said: “This has been happening all season, we are used to having to chop and change here.
“As much as it’s disappointing, as we want a settled back four as they’ve been awesome this season.
“So if we lose Craig and can’t play Bradley, it’s a blow.”
