Blackpool are sweating over the availability of Stephen Dobbie for tomorrow’s trip to Sheffield Wednesday.
Pool chairman Karl Oyston has come to an agreement with the striker’s parent club Crystal Palace which would allow him to stay at the club until the end of the season.
It’s a deal the player is believed to be keen on, and Pool have sent the official paperwork to their Premier League counterparts.
But as yet the South London club have failed to confirm the deal, and Pool are sweating on completing the deal to make Dobbie available for tomorrow’s game.
He’s one of six players set to return to their parent clubs after the Sheffield Wednesday game.
Tyler Blackett, Nathan Delfouneso, Dan Gosling, Bradley Orr and Marvin Zeelegaar will all leave the club on Thursday unless new deals are struck.
One loan player who is already secured until the end of the season is Jack Robinson.
And the Seasiders have been boosted by the news Liverpool have granted him permission to play in the FA Cup clash against Bolton.
