BLACKPOOL are expecting a busy day ahead of tonight’s 11pm deadline.
Blackpool will be watching the clock tonight as the minutes tick down to the 11pm transfer deadline.
Seasiders fans have grown used to last-gasp signings in recent years and this deadline day looks like being no different, with caretaker boss Steve Thompson and club secretary Matt Williams working hard to get deals over the line, especially for strikers.
10:10pm - All quiet at Bloomfield Road. Looking like no further business.
9:45pm - Kevin Phillips signs for Crystal Palace on loan until the end of the season.
7pm: Reports Stephen Dobbie could be on his way to Ian Holloway’s Palace. Big blow for Pool who wanted to sign him
4:47pm - Tom Barhuizen has rejected the chance to join St Johnstone on loan.
4:45pm - Talk of Alex Baptiste to Blackburn is getting everyone very excited in East Lancashire, From Blackpool’s point of view he’s going nowhere unless a much improved offer is tabled.
3:10pm - Ian Holloway wants to take Kevin Phillips to Palace. Only time will tell if they can get the deal done.
2:30pm - One newspaper claiming Blackpool want Charlie Adam back on loan. As much as I’m sure they would love their former skipper, it won’t happen.
1:46pm - Steve Thompson holds his press conference. Says there’s plenty going on and Pool are waiting for answers. He doesn’t expect anyone to leave, but stresses the club have a plan B if anything happens.
12:25pm - Tom Ince, Alex Baptiste and Kevin Phillips all finished training at Blackpool as normal. No sign of any of them jumping into helicopters and shooting off.
11:30am - Kevin Phillips is being linked with a number of clubs, including Hull and Crystal Palace.
10:35am - Blackpool have been knocked back in their attempts to sign Manchester City striker John Guidetti.
10:15am - As well as Ince, Alex Baptiste is being chased by Wolves, Blackburn and Crystal Palace. Again Blackpool want to keep the star, but his contract is up in the summer so a big bid may tempt them.
10am - Rumours about Tom Ince’s future continue to grow. The 21-year-old striker is a target of Liverpool, Swansea and Reading. Blackpool are determined to keep hold of their star player and have already rejected a £7m bid.
9am - Reece Wabara reports to Pool’s Squires Gate training ground for his first day of training. The 21-year-old signed on loan until the end of the season from Manchester City.
