Phillips £4m West Brom deal could see Pool miss-out
Blackpool could be set to miss-out on a cash windfall for Matt Phillips.
The former Seasiders winger is the subject of a £4m bid from West Bromwich Albion as he enters the final year of his contract at QPR.
As part of the deal which saw Phillips leave Blackpool for Loftus Road in 2013, Pool are entitled to around 10 per cent of any future transfer fee above the £5m the London club paid for the 25-year-old.
Phillips joined Blackpool during their Premier League campaign in 2010 and went onto play almost 100 times for the club.
