CHRIS Basham and Bob Harris both made welcome returns to action yesterday in a behind-closed doors game at Sunderland.
Basham hasn’t played since breaking his cheekbone against Leicester City last month.
The 24-year-old has made a remarkable recovery, only two-and-a-half weeks after having an operation to correct the damage.
He played 90 minutes in a strong looking second string at the Premier League side’s training ground.
Blackpool lost 2-1, with Harris scoring Pool’s goal.
Harris has not featured since breaking his toe in the 2-1 home defeat to Cardiff in January.
The full-back was on the scoresheet in a Pool line up at Sunderland which included Elliot Grandin, Alberto Noguera, Nathan Eccleston and James Caton.
The previous evening Basham turned his hand at something totally different, cooking dinner for fans!
He was joined by Harris for the first sign and dine evening held by Rowley’s Restaurant at Bloomfield Road.
Supporters enjoyed a three course meal cooked by the pair, before meeting them for autographs and pictures.
