Ollie Turton signs new Blackpool deal

It means the the 27-year old full-back or midfielder will spend a fourth season at Bloomfield Road since leaving Crewe Alexandra in 2017.
He has played over 100 League One games for the Seasiders and made 120 appearances in all, scoring three goals.

Hide AdTurton told the Blackpool FC website: “It feels brilliant to have signed a new deal and I’m over the moon to be staying at the football club.
“It’s been a tough few months with lockdown and not being out on the grass, which is where I love to be. I’ve missed the lads and missed the place in general.
“I can’t wait for the season to start, to get back to work and help push this great club forward.”
Head coach Neil Critchley, who worked with Turton at Crewe, said: “Ollie is an important part of this team and I’m delighted he has signed a new contract with us.

Turton was one of three out-of-contract players offered new terms by the club this summer: goalkeeper Chris Maxwell has already agreed a new deal, while Jay Spearing has left the club.
