BARRY Ferguson has been told to carry on upsetting team-mates as he leads the Seasiders’ charge for the Premier League.
Boss Ian Holloway is delighted with the Scot’s influence on his side ... even if his fellow Tangerines don’t always appreciate it.
Holloway explained: “Maybe people don’t like what he shouts all the time but they have to learn to accept it.
“Jonjo (Shelvey) certainly didn’t like something he said at Middlesbrough but it has to be taken the right way.
“For me, Barry is coming into his own now. He had to learn a new way of playing when he came here. Birmingham played a different system but Barry is such a class act he was able to adapt pretty quickly.
“He has settled in really well and he is showing just what a good player he is.” Ferguson has been a Championship ever-present since his £750,000 summer switch from St Andrew’s.
