Blackpool don’t play until Monday and so the players are being put through their paces at the Squires Gate training ground as normal today.

The clash with Huddersfield at Bloomfield Road has been moved back to Monday (8pm) for the Sky TV cameras, enabling Holloway to reward his players for their superb start with two days off this week.

Holloway has made six changes in each of the last two games but is expected to name an almost unchanged side to face the Terriers.

One player whose place is guaranteed is Gary Taylor-Fletcher, who has been in the form of his life.

Holloway said: “I can hardly remember a bad game Fletch has had in the three years I’ve been here.

“The way he manipulates the ball and his knowledge of all the positions I put him in are fantastic.”

Taylor-Fletcher is most comfortable in the middle of the front three but has played in the hole just in front of the midfield this season.

Holloway added: “I can comfortably put him in two or three different positions now,” he said. “When he’s not in our front line, we miss him. I just love watching him play and I love watching my side play.”

n Blackpool remain just one one point behind leaders Blackburn, who suffered their first Championship defeat of the season last night.

Lukas Jutkiewicz scored both as Middlesbrough won 2-1 at Ewood Park.
