Blackpool have clinched the signing of experienced defender Nyron Nosworthy on a contract until January.
The centre-back is a free agent since leaving Watford in the close season.
A Jamaican international, Nosworthy made 200 appearances for Gillingham earlier in his career, before moving to the Premier League with Sunderland.
After five years the defender linked up with Watford, where he remained until June.
The 34-year-old’s last football came via a loan spell with Bristol City at the back-end of last season - he can also operate at full-back
Nosworthy said of his move to Bloomfield Road: “It’s a chance for me to come and play some games, and improve where we are in the table.”
Nosworthy is available to make his Seasiders debut against Bolton Wanderers on Saturday.
