International duty for Pool youngster
Highly rated Blackpool striker Rowan Roache has enjoyed a busy week playing for the Republic of Ireland's U17 team.
The 17-year-old featured in all three of Ireland’s recent UEFA under-17’s Championships Elite Qualifying matches.
The Irish won all three of their group games, beating the Faroe Islands 4-0, Slovakia 1-0 and Cyprus 1-0.
Pool’s striker started the first two fixtures and came off the bench in the other, as the Irish finished top of their group.
