MARK Howard watched the Seasiders’ win against Sheffield Wednesday with the visiting fans on Tuesday.
The keeper played five games for the club while Matt Gilks was injured over Christmas.
Boss Ian Holloway wanted Howard, who was on a short-term contract, to stay but terms couldn’t be agreed.
The 25-year-old is training with Sheffield United and is in talks with the Blades about signing a deal.
He took the opportunity to nip to Hillsborough and watch his former Pool team-mates in action.
