Gary Taylor-Fletcher is playing so well that Ian Holloway would happily pay to watch him.
The Seasiders boss is again looking to Taylor-Fletcher to unlock the opposition defence when Cardiff come to town today for a sell-out rerun of the Wembley play-off final in May last year.
Taylor-Fletcher was one of the goalscorers in that famous 3-2 win which elevated Blackpool to the Premier League.
Cardiff are a much-changed side under new boss Malky Mackay, whereas Holloway is delighted he can still call on the reliable Taylor-Fletcher.
The manager said: “He has always been a really good player but he is just getting better and better.
“He epitomises what I am on about. He isn’t the fastest runner or the fittest fella I have ever had, but you give him the ball and he will keep it.
“Some of his ball manipulation I would pay to watch, so I encourage him to do that and he is getting confidence from it. How good is he looking?
“I remember being manager of teams that played against him and he’s playing so much better now.”
