POOL will continue talks with Robbie Fowler about a short-term deal over the next few days.
The former Liverpool and England hitman, 37 next month, is training with Pool as he seeks a return to English football after spells in Australia and Thailand.
Holloway said: “My chairman has got to talk to the boy over the weekend. I don’t put pressure on my chairman.
“I don’t understand what Robbie wants – it’s none of my business – I’ve only spoken to him about football. I think he knows he could do it and would enjoy it.
“He may want to be part of something that might be special because we have a chance of going up again.”
