Blackpool will make a decision on the future of defender Nyron Nosworthy in the next 48 hours.
The 34-year-old’s two-month contract at Bloomfield Road expires today.
Centre-half Nosworthy, who has made four appearances for Pool, started brightly but has not played since picking up a groin injury in the 6-1 hammering by Bournemouth a month ago. The Londoner has been confined to the bench since regaining fitness.
Manager Lee Clark did say earlier this month that he wanted to keep the former Sunderland man, though Nosworthy has since fallen behind Darren O’Dea and Grant Hall in the pecking order.
