DJ Campbell will be back for the Manchester United game after missing out on Saturday because of illness.

“He was sick overnight. He looked paler than I did and I am as white as a ghost, so I had to send him home,” said Holloway.

“The boy would have played but you have to do what is right.”

Marlon Harewood is pushing for a starting role against United after coming off the bench against Sunderland, playing well and proving he is over the hamstring injury which has troubled him for the last few months.

It was Harewood’s first appearance since November 20, when he scored his fifth goal of the season in the home victory over Wolves.
