Lee Clark’s dreadful luck as Blackpool boss continues with the loss of three key players.
Just two days after claiming he’s finally happy with his starting eleven Pool will now be without Michael Jacobs, Grant Hall and Joe Lewis for the rest of the season.
Pool were stunned by the news Wolves were to recall Jacobs from his loan yesterday morning, before scan results revealed ankle ligament for the other two.
And after a traumatic five months in charge, Clark was again cursing his bad luck.
“It’s been harsh to say the least,” he said.
“We were just starting to look like we are getting a bit of consistency and we lose three. We’ll have to make at least three changes now.
“Both Grant and Joe will be out for the rest of the season after they picked up ankle injuries on Tuesday.
“They both had scans on Wednesday and their injuries confirmed yesterday. It will mean yet again some of the younger lads are given a chance.”
