DEKEL Keinan is in talks with Championship high-fliers Cardiff about a move to Wales.
Just five months after arriving from Israeli outfit Maccabi Haifa in a £500,000 deal, the centre-half (above) may leave.
Despite impressing Ian Holloway with some tremendous work on the training ground, Keinan has so far failed to catch the eye on the pitch.
The 26-year-old has made three starts, at MK Dons and Southampton in the cup, and in the Premier League at Aston Villa, when Holloway made 10 changes.
Cardiff, third-top in the Championship, are desperate to bolster their injury-hit defence, and would be willing to meet Pool’s asking price.
Holloway is a pal of Bluebirds boss Dave Jones, which may increase the chances of the transfer happening.
The Seasiders have strength in depth in central defence, with Ian Evatt, Craig Cathcart, Alex Baptiste and Rob Edwards, plus Ashley Eastham – on loan at Cheltenham – in the squad.
