Blackpool have signed Middlesborough’s Faris Haroun.
Barry Ferguson is desperate to strengthen his squad ahead of tonight’s 11pm transfer deadline.
The stand-in boss was busy working with chairman Karl Oyston and secretary Matt Williams yesterday and managed to get two deals over the line.
28-year-old Haroun joined on a permanent deal until the end of the season, as did full-back Tony McMahon.
The Sheffield United man has played two games on loan under Ferguson already and Pool moved to make initial 28-day move full-time last night.
The pair will train with the Seasiders this morning while the club try to conclude more deals.
Belgium striker Haroun travelled to the Fylde coast last night and is becomes Ferguson’s fourth signing as Blackpool boss.
He’s played 50 times at the Riverside since joining from Beerschot in 2011.
And Ferguson is delighted he’s been able to lay his own stamp on the Blackpool squad.
“It’s great I’ve been able to go out and get my own players in,” he said.
“I have been able to make my mark on the team, that’s what I’m trying to do.
“The player recruitment has been left to me, and I gave the chairman a list of players I wanted.
“There will hopefully be more to report today.
“Hopefully we’ll be able to get more through the door.”
“It’s been an enjoyable week, I’ve loved every minute of it.”
