BLACKPOOL have made Scottish midfielder Scott Robertson their fourth signing of the summer.
The 27-year-old has trained with the Seasiders this week and put pen to paper on a two-year deal with the option of a further year.
He was available on a free transfer after he turned down a much-improved contract offer from SPL side Dundee United.
Robertson, who is expected to be a like-for-like replacement for the departing Keith Southern, made over 100 appearances during his time with United after joining the club from Dundee in 2008.
He hails from the same youth scene as former Pool hero Charlie Adam and has made two appearances for the Scottish national side, his first against Argentina in 2008 when he came on as a substitute for Pool skipper Barry Ferguson.
Roberson scored seven goals in 41 appearances last season, his last in the club’s 1-0 win over Celtic in May.
Championship rivals Birmingham City were also interested in the midfielder, but he opted for Ian Holloway’s side.
Jake Caprice, Isaiah Osborne and Tiago Gomes are Holloway’s three other summer captures so far.
