A WONDER strike by Kevin Phillips handed Blackpool a point against Cardiff City.

The 38-year-old turned and fired into the top corner from 25-yards to cancel out Don Cowie’s goal just after the break.

Ian Holloway’s men will play much better this season, but they will be happy with a point out of a game they could so easily have lost.
