Blackpool look to be heading for their usual deadline day rush to get new faces through the door.
The Seasiders are hoping to make at least three signings ahead of tomorrow’s 11pm deadline.
Stand-in boss Barry Ferguson has been given the green light to add players to his hugely depleted squad.
It’s understood a number of deals are on the table and Pool are quietly confident of success.
Ferguson said: “I have my targets and it’s a question of if we can get them now.
“I have a list as long as my arm which I’ve given to the chairman. He knows what I need here. I don’t know if we can get them over the line but we’ll try.”
Following training today, Ferguson is expected to spend the afternoon with club secretary Matt Williams looking into potential transfers.
He added: “It’s not just a couple of players we need.
“It’s obvious we need a few players in.
“We need to speak to the chairman and see which way that goes.”
