LYTHAM CC won the charity Twenty20 tournament staged at Church Road on Sunday.
It was part of the club’s family fun day to raise money for the Soldier’s Charity and the RNLI.
A team from 2LANCS (2nd Battalion Duke of Lancater’s Regiment, based at Weeton Barracks) took part as did Blackpool CC.
Colour Sgt Steve Bowman of 2LANCS was named outstanding player.
Jimmy Armfield presented the prizes afterwards, despite it being just before the Euro 2012 final.
Lytham cricket section chairman David Cartmell said: “After a bit of a soggy start, we had a fabulous event and have really built upon the success of last year. Many thanks to everyone who supported us and our partner charities.”
