James Anderson has signed an extension to his existing contract with Lancashire County Cricket Club.

The 31 year-old seam bowler from Burnley has added an extra year to his current deal which will keep him at Emirates Old Trafford until the end of the 2015 season.

The England seamer made his debut for the Red Rose in 2002 and played a vital role in this year’s Ashes series win.

Anderson said: ‘I am always proud to wear the Lancashire shirt and I am delighted to extend my stay.”
