Blackpool boxer Brian Rose recorded the fastest win of his professional career at the First Direct Arena in Leeds on Saturday night.
He had his rival, Argentinian Ignacio Fraga, down three times in the opening round.
On each occasion Rose felled his South American rival with a clubbing right hand.
By the time of the third knockdown, referee John Latham had seen enough and waved off this one-sided contest.
The stoppage came with just two seconds remaining of the first round, the ref ruling that Fraga was in no fit state to continue.
It was Rose’s first fight back since his unsuccessful attempt to win the WBO version of the world light-middleweight title against Demetrius Andrade in Brooklyn in June.
