STRIKER Brett Ormerod’s history-making spell at Blackpool is at an end.
He is one of four players not to be offered a new deal at Bloomfield Road - the others are Daniel Bogdanovic, Matt Hill and Stephen Husband.
It is the end of an era for Ormerod.
The hugely popular striker, who made Seasiders’ history by scoring in every division for the Seasiders during two spells at the club, is a long-time fans’ favourite.
He had a spell on loan at Rochdale earlier in the season.
Talks are continuing with Roman Bednar and Lomana LuaLua regarding their futures, while young striker Louis Almond is expected to sign a new deal shortly.
Options for another year at Blackpool have been taken on the contracts of Keith Southern, Neal Eardley, Elliot Grandin, Kevin Phillips, Gary Taylor-Fletcher, Ludovic Sylvestre, Mark Halstead, Ash Eastham, Liam Tomsett, Tom Barkhuizen, Adam Dodd and Chris Kettings.
Stephen Dobbie, John Fleck, Nouha Dicko and Danny Wilson have all returned to their respective parent clubs following loan spells.
Manager Ian Holloway has indicated he wants to keep Dobbie on a permanent transfer and is hoping to strike a deal with Swansea
Youth team scholars Curtis Thompson, Jamie Menagh, Matt Challoner and Alex Addai have all been offered professional terms.
