Ince heading for Switzerland

England's Tom Ince

England's Tom Ince

TOM Ince is bound for Switzerland on Friday.

The Seasiders winger will head to UEFA headquarters in Nyon with England U21 boss Stuart Pearce and the FA’s legal team to appeal against his one-match international ban.

Pool’s top scorer and Tottenham’s Steven Caulker, who also makes the trip, were banned for one and two games respectively following the melee at the end of the U21s’ controversial clash with Serbia in Krusevac in October.

England hope the bans will be overturned but UEFA could increase them, further jeoparding the players’ involvement in this summer’s European Championships.
