NEAL Eardley may not be involved at Hull tonight, after Holloway revealed the right-back is still coming to terms with his wage reduction.
Eardley is one of three players whose wages have been slashed in half since relegation and he is yet to agree a new deal.
Holloway said: “He is so messed up by the whole thing I doubt he will be part of the squad at Hull.”
Alex Baptiste is expected to start at right-back, while Craig Cathcart has recovered from an Achilles problem and is set to take his place alongside Ian Evatt at the heart of the defence.
Kevin Phillips and Ferguson are the only summer signings expected to start.
