Poulton stay top in the Gold Bond Blackpool and District Youth Football League under-12 division after goals from Solomon Mattatia, James Manson and Matthew Seal secured a 3-0 win against Foxhall.

In the same division, BJFF Blades kept their perfect record intact with a 3-0 win at Layton thanks to Oliver Partridge, James Wilde and Ethan Kinsey. St Annes and Thornton couldn’t muster a goal between them.

At under-13 level, BJFF Blades (Owen Mason, Charlie Croasdale) beat Poulton (Louis Hurst) 2-1 to stay second behind Squires Gate. who didn’t play.

BJFF Vipers leapfrog Foxhall into third after a thrilling 5-4 win courtesy of goals from William Allan(2), Nathan Winstanley, Liam Skilbeck and Bradley Frankel. Foxhall replied through Jacob Stone-Grice (2), Adam Rodgers and Rio Louth.

Jamie Benson-Brookfield and Callum Fielding both scored hat-tricked for Clifton in their 8-0 win over Blackpool Rangers, Nathan Shaw and Jordan Heaton also on target.

Lytham had a hat-trick hero too in Rhys Dodd in their 6-0 win over Fleetwood Gym ( James Hooper 2, Jack Dehavilland).

Foxhall Hoops (Dylan Henshall 2 , Joshua Stanley) drew 3-3 with Thornton Cleveleys (Ellis Wilson, Jack West, Aaron Clingan).

In the under-14 league, YMCA beat Layton Lions 1-0 at Stanley Park with a dramatic goal in the final minute.

Zac Pearson’s fine cross was met by Adam Brooks, who found the net with an excellent header to clinch the points. Ruben Shaw and Harvey Shaw both impressed for YMCA. Fleetwood Town (Crewsdon, Thomas) beat BJFF Blues (Mason) 2-1.

In the Lancashire FA Cup, Clifton progressed to the fourth round in emphatic style by beating BJFF Blades 11-2. Man of the match Denny Cain scored seven goals and had a hand in three others.

Hayden Abreu volleyed in the opener and there were also goals for Brad Jones (2) and Mitch Cartain-Law.Ore and Halliwell replied for the Blades.

Kirkham edged out Turton 6-5 thanks to Cameron Green 2, Oli Martin, Aidan McCulloch, Scott Ramsbottom and Cameron Leigh.

Sam Latham scored Blackpool Rangers’ consolation but opponents Charnock Richard reached double figures.

In the beta league, Foxhall stay top after winning 4-0 at Lytham Juniors thanks to a Harrison Stott hat-trick and Sam Breeze’s strike.

Fleetwood Gym stay second following a stunning 14-0 win against BJFF Vipers in which Archie Lee fired five and there were hat-tricks for Thomas Dickinson and Harvey Brooks. Completing the wscoring were Louis Rushton, Jay Stott and Luke Wylie.

Warton Typhoons Golds (Paul Cain 2, Tom Wharton, Jack Brett) beat BJFF Whites (Magolis) 4-1, while Wartons Blues doubled that tally with an 8-1 win over Foxhall Hoops. Lawrence Chiwanda scored three, with Korben Robinson, Eoghan Murphy, Sam Thompson, Josh Reed and Bradley Parsons also on target for the victors and Jack Gray replying.

Callum Chapman scored half of Layton Blues’ 10 goals against South Shore, the others shared between Billy McCreedy, Cameron Richards, Will Fielding, Ryan Boyd and Daniel Howe.

Kirkham Blues stay top of the under-15 alpha league with a 9-1 win against Fleetwood Town. Connor Baxter led the way with a hat-trick, while there was a brace for Ty Rowland and further goals from Noah Fluss-Tramontano, Liam Bradley, Joe Newell and Rory Kelly. Green replied.

Blackpool Rangers Tangerines (Eddie Peill, Jack Clarke, Luke Marshall) drew 3-3 with Poulton Town (Harry Jenkins, Josh Sackfeld, Josh Grimes), while Alfie Tomlinson scored at the double in Clifton’s 4-1 (Dylan Webbe, Theo Ioannou) win over BJFF Blades (Webbe).

The beta league game of the day saw Kirkham Reds win 4-3 at Northgate, who dropped their first points of the season. There were two goals each for Josh Marshall and James Findlay, while Tyler Baxter, Leo Woodruff and McGuiness replied.

FC Rangers are now second after Kye Wylie bagged four in the 6-0 win over Spirit of Youth. Ben Hindley and Haydn O’Brien made it half a dozen.

Warton Typhoons likewise hit Lytham Juniors for six, with Will Carter scoring three of them (Will Gargett 2, Hugo Morris). Lytham scored three in reply (Jordan Costin 2, Josh Serghi).

Four goals from Josh Coulter, together with a Tom Elliott brace and Ryan Leach’s strike completed a 7-2 win over St Annes Bombers.

Foxhall dropped their first points of the season in the under-16 alpha league after being held 2-2 by Layton. Waterfield and Allan’s goals for the Hoops were cancelled out by Harry Dale and Kier Ingham.

YMCA took advantage by beating hosts Blackpool Rangers 3-2.

They almost took an early lead when Isaac Eastham’s fierce shot was tipped over the bar by the home keeper.

Minutes later, the Rangers keeper got a hand to Owen Bridge’s inswinging corner but couldn’t prevent Harry Fisher heading YMCA ahead at the far post.

The busy Rangers stopper then tipped a Bradley Jones free-kick over the bar before the home side equalised from a 28th-minute penalty.

YMCA regained the lead just before the break, when Ross Hart’s clever dummy enabled Jack Bishop to cross for Bridge to slide the ball home and make it 2-1 at half-time.

Rangers equalised again but YMCA took the lead for a third time when hart’s volley was headed home by Charlie Cadley. Rangers pushed extra men forward in the closing minutes but YMCA keeper Billy Crellin produced a great diving save at full stretch to secure the win. Jonny Hocking and Danny Carr were the Rangers scorers.

Thornton Cleveleys (Alex Ogden) drew 2-2 with Poulton, who led at half-time courtesy of Luke Eastham’s goal.

A gritty second period saw Thornton cash in on a good spell in the middle of the half with two goals only for Conor Houghton to run on to a long goal-kick to equalise.

Both goalkeepers continued to play well and frustrate the forwards to ensure it remained 2-2.

Wyre (Alex Howarth, Ollie Verity, Tom Crane) lost 4-3 against Kirkham (Rawcliffe 2, Aleksejevs, Eckman).

AFC Blackpool are top of the beta league after five goals from Lee Casey and Callum Gelately’s double helped them to an 11-1 win at Layton.

Joe Reid, Declan Penn, Kieran Whitehouse and Elliott Cheetham also scored for AFC, with Matt Jackson replying.

James Healey bagged four for Staining in a 9-1 success over Warton (Macca Tierney 2, Danny Siddall, Will Whitaker, Joel Heaton), while Lytham Jaguars take the spoils from a a6-5 thriller at Fleetwood Gym thanks to Dean Glover (2), Jack Webster, Harry Greenhalgh, Ben Davies and Kieran Boyce.

Gym’s replies came from Liam Gaynor, Jimmy Marshall, Charlie O’Malley and Anthony Goffin.

Poulton Town were 4-2 winners over St Annes, who took the lead only for goals by Green and Collinge to turn the game around. Blackhurst made it 3-1 with a sublime free-kick. Having pulled one back on 72 minutes, St Annes pressed for an equaliser only for Blackhurst to make it four in stoppage time. St Annes’ replies came from Van Wyk and Bradley.

AFC Blackpool are top of the under- 18 league after beating FC Rangers Blacks 6-2.

Connor Slade scored two, with Asuman, Jake Barrett, Tom Griffiths and Will Smith also on target. Kieran Clarke bagged both for Blacks.

Spirit of Youth Yellows drew 4-4 with FC Rangers Blues in a thriller which lived up to its top of the table billing.

Rangers opened the scoring,thoughSpirit soon equalised through Jordan Parker from Kyle Hodkinson’scross to the near post. Parker then grabbed his second and Spirit went 3-1 up when Robert Markillie’s shot went in off the post.

But Rangers were determined not to surrender their 100 per cent start without a fight and two goals in quick succession levelled the match at 3-3.

FC then took the lead but there was one more twist as Sam Kowalski’s free-kick was headed home superbly by Parker to complete the scoring and his hat-trick.

The Blues had a hat-trick hero too in Alex Varley, with Kieran Clayton also on target.

Our final game this week saw St Annes beat Spirit of Youth Blues 6-1, with Callum Stonley scoring twice.

Oli Pitt, Jordan Kilgallon, Matt Rhodes and Reece Rodgers netted too, with Joe Belshaw replying for Spirit.
