Police are trying to trace a Wyre man after cocaine was found during a house search.

Daniel Munro, also known as Daniel Irving, 24, is wanted after a significant quantity of high purity cocaine was found when a drugs warrant was executed at an address on Rosemount Avenue, Preesall last December.

His last known address was on Douglas Avenue in Stalmine but he is also known to have links to Blackpool, Fleetwood, Over Wyre, Salford and Cumbria.

DS David Priest said: “We need to speak to Munro in relation to the drugs discovery and I am asking for assistance from local communities to help us track him down.

“We know he has been actively trying to avoid us but my advice to Munro would be to hand himself in at his nearest station as we are committed to finding him.

“If you have seen him or know where he is, please make contact with us as soon as possible. I would urge the public not to approach him but to ring the police.”

Munro is described as white, 5ft 10ins, medium build and hazel coloured eyes. He also has a one inch scar near to his right ear.
