Three fire engines called to rescue trapped gull

Fire crews from Blackpool and Fleetwood were called into action when a gull became stuck in a TV aerial.

The incident happened in Stockdove Way, Cleveleys at around 11.37 today.

Three fire engines attended the scene having been requested to attend by the RSPCA.

The gull was recovered from the rooftop and handed over into the care of the animal charity.

Emergency services were on scene for around an hour.
