Corporal Luke stars as Army take inter-services crown
Lance Corporal Luke Noble, 25, won a penalty in Army’s 2-1 win over the RAF in the first of three matches to determine the winner of the Constantinople Cup.
The Army overcame the RAF with a late goal to win the opening tie 2-1, with Luke winning a penalty in the first half to draw the game level, before the last gasp winner.

Hide AdHe then scored the Army’s second goal in a 4-0 win over the Navy in the second of the tri-series games.
The third game, between the RAF and Navy at Shrewsbury Town, is now effectively a dead rubber after Luke’s heroics.
Luke serves in the Army with the Royal Signals and has played for AFC Blackpool, Thornton Cleveleys and Boars Head Thistle.
