Paralympian Shelly Woods was grateful to receive a cheque for £1,630 from staff at her local Barclays Bank branch in Lytham, who raised money to help the double-medal-winning wheelchair racer to compete in Beijing.
Barclays' David Curley said: "We are committed to strengthening the communities in which we live and work and the inspiration that Shelly has given to our community is fantastic."
